Moschino Image

Franco Moschino relentlessly mocked the fashion system where he used shows as theatre, humour as marketing and created garments to use as his picket line placards.

Everything from suits to T-shirts were emblazoned with slogans such as, “Good Taste Doesn’t Exist,” and his fashion label became famous for innovative, colourful, witty and sometimes eccentric designs.

After Moschino’s untimely death, Rossella Jardini his former assistant became creative director retaining the Italian label’s motto that, “Fashion should be fun and should send a message.”
